The mic has a tight cardioid pickup pattern and is ideal for vocals. The casing is solid steel and very sturdy. The retro styling will look the part for anything from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. They are also used with other bands or performers that want a retro look - great for rockabilly, jazz, or crooners. Some heavier bands are also keen on the style too.
