The ME36 is a shotgun-style condenser microphone. It is an ideal choice when the mic has to be a distance away from the person speaking. The tight pickup pattern and excellent rejection means more gain-before-feedback, and a clearer, more natural sound.
The ME36 works well in a pair, and this is how we most often deploy them when used on lecterns. We have clamps that allow the mics to be fitted directly to any of our lecterns.
You can opt to use a standard mic stand, but we also have weighted bases that make it a convenient option for tabletop use.
