If you're needing to get live video onto a computer, for capture, editing, or live streaming, this is a simple and straightforward way to do it.
The Roland UVC-01 takes an HDMI video signal and provides a data stream over USB. The computer sees it like a webcam, irrespective of what's supplying the footage. If you're doing a simple webcast, a single camera can be plugged straight in. For more demanding shows, you can use a video switcher ahead of it, to mix multiple cameras and graphics. (Our Roland V8HD is perfect for this task)
The UVC-01 will work with any Mac or Windows computer that has a USB 3.0 port. It's plug-and-play, with no drivers required, and it will work with any software that can deal with a webcam input, such as Zoom, OBS, V-Mix, or go direct to YouTube or FaceBook Live.
(We can help check your computer if you're not sure of its capabilities, or potentially supply one of our own)
For any webcast, livestream, or recording this is a simple, cost-effective solution.
