DI boxes take a line level signal, such as that from a keyboard or guitar, and convert it to a balanced mic-level signal, suitable for running up an XLR cable.
This is particularly important if you have a long distance between the instrument and your mixer - using a DI box will ensure you don't lose any signal quality.
Built-in isolating circuitry prevents buzzes and hums. Our DI boxes are top quality and avoid the distortion and level mismatches that cheaper boxes can cause.
We have two options available for hire, a compact box which is the simplest to use, and a slightly larger model which has the same circuitry but options for a pass-through to an instrument amplifier.
